DT40 cooling

Does a 1992 DT40 Suzuki 2stroke outboard have a thermostat? If so, where? Thanks

There is a small cover near the top of the cylinder head -------3 or 4 bolts--------------The thermostat is in there.

Thanks. I think I should check it out for rust and fouling. I replaced the water pump and I want no more surprises. Had enough lately.
