FORCE 5hp circa 1990's

I just purchased a 5hp Force outboard - serial number 0E073246.
The guy I bought it from said it was a 1999. I have not idea if that is true.
I was unable to locate any info on the motor via the serial number.
The motor is real clean, and does not have many hours on it.
I got it started after removing the spark plug and spraying some starting fluid into the cylinder.
I had it setting in a 5 gallon pail of water.
It seems to run fine, however, I did not see any waterflow coming out of the upper unit.
I looked under the cowl, and there were no tubes or holes where water would normally come out.
I took the cowl off and inspected the block and did not see any type of cooling hoses.
I am baffled
HELP !
thanks,
Jack

Force's don't have the pee tube. You need to install one.
Replace the impeller just to be sure.
The cowl looks like the later years.
Find the parts diagrams and look on the powerhead. There should be a screw/plug that you can fit a whizzer tube.J

Thanks Jerry.
Can the engine run without a pee tube? If so, where does the heated water come out?
What range is "later years"?
Can't find a parts diagram anywhere.
Shouldn't the serial number be traceable to a year?
thanks again,
Jack

Boats.net has diagrams. That's one of the places I buy my parts.
Force/Chrysler has been running for 50+ years without a pee tube.
It's a good idea to install one.
I tried to match your serial# to a year and I can't find one to match.
