Adding Gauges to a Suzuki DF140

I have a set of twin 140 Suzukis (2004 model) and wanted to swap out my trim gauges for something useful. I was thinking the best would be a temp gauge. Anyone have any recommendations for what (water temp or cyl head temp) and where to (water jacket [is there a plug i can use] same for cyl head) and how to do so?

You could go to a Lowrance LMF 200 or 400 multi-function guages, this is a NMEA 2000 compliant guage and had a lot of functions, you will have to get a interface connector to attach to the motor, the guage can read trim, coolant temp, OP, GPH and more...........lots more....if you connect to a gps it will gove you a MPG reading also.

I believe you can buy the same guages for Suzuki and they are made by Lowrance.
Unfortunately I have found Lowrance's customer service lacking, but they do have good products, with that being said you may be better advised to buy from your local Suzuki dealer if he can offer support............mighty handy when questions come up.
