5.0 Sea King

I have a 5.0 Sea King with a Tecum. motor. The serial number stamped on it is 104402 and the only numbers for the Model that can be read is 50806A. Can anyone tell me when this motor was made?
 
i have a sea king 5 1962 how do i rest the speed controls,and the lean, and so on, when i run it ,it has full speed and then it slows down can any one help.
