How to drain VSt on 2003 BF225

Sorry dumb question, but how do you drain the VST on a 2003 BF225? and where is it located on the motor?...do I need to remove anything else BESIDES the cowling?

Did a search and nothing came up.

Thanks for your help.
 
It's on the back of the engine. Take the cover off stand behind the engine and look down slightly, you will see a looped clear hose.That is the VST drain hose. Follow the hose back to the drain on the VST. You will need a long flat screw driver.
 
Follow Chis's instructions, but be careful on how many turns on the screw. If it falls out, then you will need to remove the cowling and go fishing. If it doesn't drain at first, reset the screw and try again. You can imagine why I know this!
