wont start

Hi i have an 85hp Suzuki 2 stroke late 80s, when i turn the key the engine justs makes a clicking sound, there is a new battery can anybody tell me what it is or how to fix it Thanks
 
Sounds like stater solenoid (@$100.00), but could be key switch, kill switch, battery (low voltage) insure all battery connections are tight along with grounds etc... Between battery and starter.
