Do four-stroke outboards (small ones, 5-10hp) really have solid lifters?

That seems nuts to me, they would not have hydraulic lifters. But then I've been wrong with most of my posts so far. They're sure not like airplane engines.
 
Most of the ones I see don't have any lifters. They're all overhead cam and the rocker arm rides right on the cam lobe.
Simple and elegant with less to go wrong.
