What year is my Yamaha 3.5AC serial No 624 S 012275 I need this information to buy the correct colour touch up paint.

Are you sure the number is 624 and not 642 ? If it is 642 then you're engine looks to be a 1978 model.

You are right of course it is 642. I also notice that there is a T on the lower left of the serial number plate.

Then with that info, the yamaha chart shows it to be a 1979 engine found in the yamaha section below. Good luck.

Thank you for this information now all I need is the touch up paint to match or possibly an auto touch up paint which would be a close match.
