I've just obtained a Suzuki DT5 complete with fuel tank and control levers with cables.
I have no idea about outboard motors. This motor has been stood around for a couple of years in a shed, I took the hood off it and the engine is spottlesly clean, I found out it was hardly ever used because the owner got fed up carrying this engine home and back to the boat so he purchased a boat with inboard engine. Sadly the guy is no longer around and his wife knows nothing about it, no manual etc.
Can I be so cheeky and ask you guy's a few questions?
1. What fuel ratio mix is it? I was told by my neighbour that it's 50:1
2. He asked how does the water circulate to cool the engine? ie inlet/outlet
last but not least
I have no use for this motor at all because I don't even own a boat, so can anyone give me a guide price for the motor, control box and cables plus what looks like a 3 gallon steel tank.
