I have a 1980 24 ft Wellcraft 350 motor i replaced the tach with a omc tachometer on the back of the tach it says for use on 2,3,4 pul/rev alternator equipped stern drive engines what does pul/rev mean i checked the tach with an rmp gauge at idle its ok but at 3,000 its off by 600 can any one please help ?
