Sputtered to a stop while heading out for a fishing trip about 10 minutes into it ....?
Would not start again, other than starting and stopping after a couple seconds. Returned to the marina using my 9.9 Suzuki 4 stroke which uses the same fuel source from the main enclosed tank. Plugs are new this year and look good. Engine turns over fine and fires up for a second or two....
Replaced the mechanical fuel pump but that did not help. The VERY expensive electrical fuel pump ($670.00+) is seemingly ' cycling ' as it makes noise every time I turn the key? The marine store where I bought the mechanical fuel pump said they could not remember the last time they sold an electrical pump because they just don't usually fail.
Of course, there are fuel ' hoses ' running all over the place via this & that due to being fuel injected ...?
I have NO idea WHY it won't continue to run after it starts?
