I have a 125hp mariner outboard, a hose has come off on the outside of the motor near the lower unit and I can't see where it reconnects. One end is still attached with a nut, the other end that is loose looks like it just gets inserted in. any help would be appreciated. My boat is currently in the water at a dock.
 
Ok thanks, but where does it go? I want to make sure when I winterize the boat for the season i place it back where it needs to be.
 
One end would go to a speedometer in the boat and one end goes to the fitting on the lower unit.-----------Winterizing, you have to make sure that the cavity in the lower unit does not have any water in it.
