Motoring back to dock at 3/4 throttle something broke. At high rev the prop would not engage, At low speed and closed throttle it works. Was full of lower unit fluid water free. No metal shavings when draining. Removed prop and all vanes/ribs on shaft in tact as well as washer and spacers. Is it a simple shear pin issue or something else? I have little expirence in dealing with the driveshaft issues. Any insight would be great so I can explain the problem to my repair shop and they dont say " it is a cavatation problem " Thanks
