Heat Exchanger Question

My Volvo KAD300 was laid up for 9 weeks waiting for a new ECU.
During that time it sat behind my house in lagoon water about 80° F. After returning to service it is running much hotter than before.

Is there any reasonably simple way to flush the salt water side of the heat exchanger?

Thanks

check raw water flow in the exhaust elbow hose, if you dont have enough volume at that exit point of the cooling system it will run hotter. restriction in the system will cause higher pressure, but less flow - and thus less cooling. check for growth in the seawater pickup tract, 9 weeks is a long time and barnacles/algae will multiply and grow very quickly. also check your impeller to make sure dry start after over 2 months didnt break up the blade(s).
