How do you service the distributers on 50 hp Mercs from the mid/late 60's? Even just to check the dist. cap and rotor? Do you have to pull it right offf? I can't see any other way to get the cap off the dist. on the motor. And if you do have to pull it off, how do you re-install it so that the timing is correct?
