1975 10 hp. changed impeller sill gets hot and does not pump much water out. took sparrk plug and side cover off there was a little junk at the bottom of side cover about 3/8 in. none of the holes where plugged and the old impeller looked fine no dry rot or pieces missing . could this be why it is getting hot? can you use high temp peratext or should i buy a new gasket? thanks for any info.
