While unwrapping some fishing line from my Yam 8 (tilted up all the way) I did put some weight on it as I leaned out over the transom. Afterwards it would not tilt down all the way, but stopped at a point that was about at a position to run in shallow water - prop just below the waterline. It tilts up fine but only goes down to that same point. I tried it again today and same result. I won't be able to work on it until next week end, but I am looking for ideas. Appreciate any thoughts. I did crack the screw that plugs the hydraulic cylinder, and a tiny amount of red fluid leaked out. Retightened it, and no change in tilt behavior. Thanks for any help.
