I am replacing a damaged lower unit with a used one and I am replacing the impeller. My original impeller plate was damaged so I was going to use the plate that came with the other lower unit. The problem I have is that the plate openings are different sizes and location. Would I still be able to use it without heating/cooling issues? I tried looking for another plate but all the older part #'s supersede to one #.I have a post on iBoats but no one has responded yet.
