Stability problem after DIY the carbinet and hardtop

madetdb8

Bought a 6 meter Bluefin boat 4months ago and start my DIY. I removed the rotton wood carbinet on it before and start with a basic hull.

i had the boat 80% done now and had sea trail this weekend, Disappointed.

Weather condition: Wind 5knots, Swell 0.3m, very good weather
when at around 30mph.
the boat is prone to lean one side, had to keep steering to keep it straight. feels like gonna capsize.
Scared to rise the speed anymore.

is it because of the heavy hard top? i had some picture please advice.
every thing above the yellow is my job. my welding was bad but at lease hold. dodgy job. i know it.

the side is 4 mm, the rest is either 1.6mm or 2 mm. i had the hardtop removed and put a softop on today. hopefully will solve the problem.
i also plan to have a water balasting system made where around 50L of water will be sit at the bottom of the boat.
any other idea to make it more stable? please give advices. boat 026.jpgboat 072.jpg
