Mariner 60 hp. 3 cyl. Idle trouble

I am not a mechanic but was able to get my Mariner 60 hp. 3 cyl. motor strated after it had been sitting for about one and a half years. I think it's an early 1980's model(serial#OB240438). It runs only in a very high idle. I am not sure how to adjust the idle. I can move the choke up & it does increase the RPM's but I can't get it to slow down. Any help is appreciated.
 
After all that time the carbs are probably gunked up, you might consider removing, cleaning and installing a carb kit
