I have a problem with my DT15 serial No. 015072F-881674.
It runs perfectly above about a quarter throttle but below that it runs rough and then dies. if i pull the choke at low revs it runs for a little longer and then still dies. It is also a lot more difficult to start than it used to be.
It ran perfectly until the end of last season when it was briefly drowned in salt water. There was water in the carburetor but none in the cylinders, but the electronics also got wet. I stripped and cleaned everything and it seemed to work again but subsequently this problem started to manifest itself.
I would conclude that the engine is not getting enough fuel, since the carburetor is clean i assume it is a tuning issue. (the tank, fuel line etc. have not changed since it was working well)
Problem - I cannot find a tuning screw on the carb! The carb is a BCM KEIHIN 94J6A VFO1
Dose the DT15 have some kind of electronic tuning/fuel regulation system which may have been reset when it got wet? what can i do about this?
