Kad 42 super charger problem

Hi to all,

I would be very greatfull for any input on the problem I have.

My starboard Kad 42 super charger engages very early at about 1000rpm I have not touched anything and the problem was not there a month ago. Sometimes the super charger engages as soon as I start the engine and rev it just a little and when I pull the trottle back to idle the charger does not switch off.

Any ideas on what could be the problem.

do yourself a favor and just install a heavy duty switch on the dash and operate it manually, there is a couple unused wires in the vovlo wire loom that can be hijacked for other things, I ran a hot to the supercharger from a swith fused at the console on my friends guide boat saved him the 350.00 for a new computer. if you are going to replace the brain think about putting it somewhere out of the engine compartment, they don't like heat vibration and moisture,,
