foreward no reverse

Electric current goes to the forward magnet, you have forward, electric current goes to reverse you have reverse.

The current goes thru a button or switch, could be in the throttle.

You will need a new shift cable for about 100 bucks and it need to be installed through your lower unit and you will be back in buisness
