My motor is a 25" shaft. My lower unit has gone up. I found a couple good 20" shaft units on the net. Is it possible to remove the 20" shaft and replace it with a 25"? also the shift shaft?
I know it would need to be reshimmed, but i was just wondering if it was a straight forward swap.
