Yamaha Year and hp?

Hello all,
I have this believed to be a 6hp or 8hp outboard but need to identify it.
The tag says:-

Yamaha 8B
677 S005137

Is it a 6 or 8hp? What year is it?:confused:
Any replies would be appreciated.
