dt 140 operating temperature

hi,,,can anybody tell me what the correct operating teemperature should be for a 1997 dt140?

around 130-140

hi,,,i just replaced the therostat and it seems to stay right around 120 just below 130,,,,would this be too low?? thanks bob

the new thermostat ran beautifully for 2 full days on the water...120f constant with a slight rise when turned motor off....the motor also ran much cooler. slightly warm, nice warm pee stream.
As i decide to head in today after these 2 great days, the boat starts running as if theres no thermo, temp increased super fast, with super hot pee stream....limped home with throttle control
Is it possible that the thermo became dislodged and was not seated properly after 2 days of bouncin around on the water,,,,or could it maybe be that it didnt clean out the housing good enough?
I'm kinda buggin out as i thought everything was good to go.... thanks again bob
