hello all,,I've scoured over the posts and found a bunch of relevant info on this topic, however just not anything that has helped me...
My motor runs beautifully throughout rpms until the rev limiter decides to randomly kick in and temp gauge lights up. I back down to neutral for a second and then am able to resume like nothing has happened. If i watch the gauge and feather the throtlle till just below 160 degrees or so, i am able to avoid the warnings.
I have replaced the temp sensor and thermostats
any insight would be greatly appreciated thanks, bob

hi,,,i just replaced the lower unit and was told there was a new water pump. The boat never seems to lose a steady pee stream,,,thanks bob

The wire connected to the water temperature sensor on my DT115 motor corroded and cut the revs randomly.

hi,,,...i just has the temp sensor changed so i'm thinking the connecting wires should be good.
thanks for the thought! :)

could these symptoms have anything to do wit the pressure relief valve??? Im hoping not as it seems like a bitch to get to,,thanks again,,,bob
