1979 Cobalt OMC Sterndrive - Engine Model?

Hello,

I have a 1979 Cobalt with an OMC sterndrive. I'm wanting to order a new fuel pump, but I can't seem to locate the model number of the engine. Does anybody recognize this engine? Thanks so much!

It is the GM (Chev) based V8 - could be a 305 or 350 cubic inch

regardless, the original pump is 0981650 FUEL PUMP ASSY. -and you can use that number to buy either OEM part from Evinrude dealer or cross reference it to an aftermarket pump
you can plug that number into the search box at the top of this page and it will give you a few options
