DF40 bogs down after 2 minutes at cruse RPM

After running 2 minutes above 3000 rpm my DF40 will bog down to 3,000 rpm and run very rough. Then it will keep loosing rpm down to idle speed. If I pull the throttle back to idle and then try to open it up again it will die. Then I can restart and run again for a couple of minutes. I us this motor for fishing and can run it at idle speed all day and have no problem. This only occurs when I am trying to cruse back to tge dock.
 
Check your spark,and make sure it is firing like it should.If takes two minutes and bogs down,sounds mabe somthing electrical getting hot.
