I have a 1998 OX66 225 hp and the gasket that seals the engine cove to the mid cowing has separated.It seems the adhesive has failed.I have talked to a few people who work on Yamahas and they told me this is something I will have to live with.This could be a real problem if I ever have to remove that cover when on the water because the engine is attached to a bracket.Has anyone ran into this problem and been able to re attach that gasket back onto the engine cover. Thanks
