The Suzuki outboard I have will run fine for about a 100 yard then die down and run at trolling like speed after about 5-8 minutes I can run it again with throttle forward fast speeding up for about a 100 yards then dies down again. this engine has not run right since I purchased it with a pontoon three summers ago. It had to be overhauled after I bought it because of water pump failure. Last summer it seemed to run like I explained aboved. I would sure like any ideas. i have replace the gas lines to the engine from gas tank. Installed a new in line filter and new sparkplugs. Thank you Ron
