New here, thanks in advance. I had my motor (2005 F150TXRD) serviced recently and it has leaked oil in the back just above the oil drain plug.
The leak is in the crack between the apron (part 35) and the upper casing (part 21). It has leaked approximately 4 oz based on the pool of oil on my driveway. I haven't run the motor yet.
It isn't just spillage from draining the oil - you can see the oil trail down the upper casing to the lower unit and off the cavitation plate to the ground. It's easy to see because the paint is bubbled up and discolored.
I've changed the oil 4 times myself and never had this issue. Any ideas what the mechanic has done?
