I have purchased a Mariner 40hp the other night and have pluged in the serial number to every site i could possably google and keep getting some contridicting information, maybe its not contridicting but its not making much since. The tag says that it is a 40 ML and the serial number is 6E9 L 310423. My research so far has has me thinking it should be a 40c ML and that its a auto blend but thats not what is stamped on the tag and there is no auto blend on my motor. I would greatly appriciate anybodys help as to what year the motor is. Thanks
