New propeller needed

I've got a 1989, 9.9, 4-stroke, long shaft Yamaha hanging on the back of my 16' Alumaweld driftboat, and after banging the existing prop up a bit, am in need of a new one. I know I could just match what's on there now, but was wondering if anyone found better performance with a propeller with different characteristics? 4 blade vs 3? Different pitch?

I should have also mentioned that the prop on the motor now is a 9.25 x 9. Not sure if this is too heavy a boat for this prop and I should maybe have a 4-blade on, or not.
