Guys (new user, please be kind to me!)
I'm lead to believe the 2003 Merc 115HP 4-Stroke uses it's own F.I. and ignition. That being said I am also being told you can not pull out info off the motor as say you would a Yahama 4S 115 that it's based on.
Can anyone confirm this?
Also does anyone know if the data port is the same on various brand outboards? By that I mean to say can you buy one diagnostic software/cables and be able to do more then one manufacture?
Figured I had to ask as I'm schooled in OBD in auto and it was a godsend over ALDL/Company Specific Diagnostic ports on older cars. Don't know spit about outboard fuel feedback however
