DF90 & Oil Pressure Warning (Can trolling 3 hrs. cause this?)

Trolling this past weekend in big water on lake in Maine, required DF90 to run long periods at low speed (2.5mph).

Low oil pressure warning light started flashing in afternoon and audible chime started. Can running at low speeds cause this?

No other warning lights flashed. Checked the oil level and it was fine.

Motor is 9 months old and has 30 hrs. on it. Local Suzuki shop performed the winterizing last fall (including an oil change).



Would appreciate feedback before contacting dealer.

Check your owners manual to see if what you are seeing is your oil change reminder, and if so, perhaps the shop forgot to reset it when they changed oil. On my engine the oil light will flash as an oil change reminder, but the buzzer will only go of in a series of double beeps if the key is on but the engine is not running. If the engine is running there will be no beeps. Don't know if yours is the same or not.
