I just purchased a 1996 17 ft 4 Winns boat with a 115 Johnson outboard motor. Its all in nice shape but not instructions or manuals came with the boat. The question is this: There appears to be a bracket holding the motor up for road travel. Do you have to release it msnjuslly before you lower the motor for use, or does the power tilt move it? I don't wand to break anything.
