I have an 87 Mariner 9.9 and need to replace both bracket clamps. My question is the clamp screws that hold the motor to the transom have a disk peened onto a post, the new clamp does not come with these installed and I am not sure how to remove the disks so I can install them into the new clamp. I am attaching a picture of the post with the disk. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
