I recently purchased a*Ford Industrial engine with 75 hours total hours.* I marinised it using parts off a Mermaid Marine engine which was scrapped.**They are not the same size blocks however went very smoothly and I now have a nice working engine.* I have had no success at contacting Ford as to obtain information on this engine. Can any one help me with some info based on the following engine numbers.
*
Model:* 2704 ET***** Fuel: AC******* H'D:* D****** Date/Serial: S 960622
Capacity: 5.95 L***** RPM: 2400**** Block: A**** Build#: 99/339/350/330/000* 9

Some info is obvious but would like to be able to interpret the others.

Merelust, i can answer some questions for you. Your engine was built about 1979 fuel ac means it has simms inj. Pump. Hd d is turbo head under 2400 rpm with turbo intake valves. Block a is standard industrial with 21 lbs.ft p.t.o. I don't have a breakdown of the build # but they usually came with a flat oil pan and 87 pound flywheel. There is a little tag on the side of the injection pump which starts with letter p---- tell me what this is and i will tell you what injectors you have. Parts are rare but i have some. Charlie
