I have a Honda BF75; 1972 vintage. I need a fuel line connector (the female fitting on the fuel line that connects to to outboard). Question is: Is there a "universal Fitting" or can I only use a Honda specific fitting? A lot of them look the same: A flat-ish fitting; 2 holes, one for the alignment pin the other is the fuel connector.
Reason I'm asking: It looks like I'll be buying on-line and, therefore, I can't put my hands on the fitting to try it before I buy it. I'd hate to spend what seems like a steep price for a little 3/8" fitting and get a dud.
