1989 150 hp mariner efi

I have a 1998 mariner 150 mag/efi. i know one of you merc mechanic can tell me the difference in the 150 to 225. i do on omc but not on this mariner/merc. all the injecters and ecns all have the same part number from 150-225. same bore stroke, pistons and rods. so is there an intake restrictor plate? or possible a different exhaust plate? i just want to find the difference and add hp to my 150.

I believe the electronics can make the difference in the 150-225.
Some powerheads are different.Some are 2.5ltr some are 3.0ltr.
The 3.0 is used in the 200 up and the 2.5 is used in 225 and down.
I had a 97/225 EFI it had the 3.0 block.Some 2.5 are used in the race division and the HP ratings go all over.
There proably more but that's what I know,I think??? Jerry
 
Jerryjerry thank you, but all the part numbers cross for the 150 mag/efi and the 200, injectors, elecrtonics and heads?? So i am asuming there is an exhaust pales aor intake restictor plate?? if any has hard part part numbers i would appreciate it.
