Average Labor cost?

Need to change the engine trim sensor. What ball park labor anyone know?

Year and model would be helpful. Also hydraulic or mechanical steering?

2007 F250TUR Mechanical

Two screws and a wire connector. You can do this your self. Very simple. You probably just need to loosen up your sender with some WD40. Just spray it down and work it back and forth. Put your engine all the way up and look inside the transom mount bracket where the trim pump is. You will see the sender on the starboard side close to the top. You will see the little lever on it. It will be stuck in the down position.

As long as the bolts do not break, figure a shop will charge you an hour labor for the install and adjustment plus the cost of the sender.
