'1987 115 hp 2-strike no fire on cylinder 1 & 3

Boat has been sitting for about a year. Rebuilt carbs, did compression check put it all back together, but will not crank. I'm not getting fire to #1 and #3 cylinder. I've tried the plugs that fire on #2 and #4, but still no fire on 1 and 3.
Any ideas on how to start checking this out would be appreciated. Steps for checking coil with multi-meter, wiring diagram to show ground locations, any help would be great.
