Hello Folks. I have a 25ELH on my Alumacraft WaterFowler 16. I have purchased a camo sheet of vinyl from Camo Wraps.
I have washed the motor with hot water and dish soap, rinsed and dried off. I will then Remove any odd shaped attachments and remove all the stock stickers and glue. I will then wipe the motor down with Alcohol to remove grease etc and install the vinyl as per the manufactures installation instructions.
(1) What protector do you suggest I put on the rubber seal around the cowling? Should I use Silicone auto spray (the same as for auto door rubbers)?
(2) What kind of water resistant grease should I use in my grease gun when greasing the pivot points on the motor?
(3) Should I spray the outside of the motor and wires (under the cowling) with a silicone type spray?
