I have a 115hp 4-stroke Yamaha Outboard. Out of the two cables that run from the motor to the throttle/choke handle on the console, one of the cables is rusting through pretty bad. From looking at it, I believe the cable that is rusting is the choke cable. If the choke cable were to break while in use, would it disable the boat or would the choke just not work? Also, should these 2 cables be changed at the same time because the other looks fine? Any tips? Thanks.
