2002 F80B sounds like back firing off idle

fix cars for living and i have no idea with this 4 cycle yamaha , stars like dream , under load or no load will pop sonds like comming form under valve cover not from intake , ones over 2000 rpm sounds nice,:cool: cant determine spark or fuel any help appreciated thanx in advace
ps: carb per cylinder
 
Put a timing light on each cylinder---------------Carefully observe the flashing as you speed up in gear.-------------------Will help determine if spark or fuel problem.
