2007 Yamaha F115 4 stroke Alarm

Hi,

I have an alarm going off on my port engine and can't figure out why. It only goes off when the engine is in neutral. If I engage the engine the alarm immediately stops. If I reeve the engine in neutral the alarm does not go off.

Any ideas? I live on a remote island and the mechanics here are iffy!
