Hi All,
My Volvo Penta 2003 from 1986 seems jinxed. When I start her up full throttle, I can bring her back to idle speed. Then I bring her up to 1500 rpm and can bring her back to idle but when I bring her up to 1700 or 2000 or 3000 rpm, and try to move her back to idle, she happily stays running on the high speed selected and I stop her by blocking the air-intake.
The fuel rack is moving free, the connecting rod is moving free. the sleeve on the camshaft is moving free.
Is there any wizard amongst you who can help me unjinx this engine? Can anybody tell me whether the position of the end nipple on the connecting rod in idle position should be against the internal part of the max.volume screw?
