I have a Yanmar 240hp turbo diesel inboard engine, fitted new in 2005 and has only done 100 hours, boat engine has been run on tick over but not been out on the river for approx 8 months. On starting the engine there is a dark blue smoke which smells of diesel not oil, it clears a little when warm - any ideas what could be causing this?
