I am having trouble getting the through tube out, it is hard to tilt the motor and the tilt lock is very tight. I have taken off the nuts on both sides of the mounting bracket but the tube does not want to budge? any sugestions?
 
Ok, I got it out.
I was trying to remove the trough tube that the engine pivots on so I could replace the bushings and tilt lock that are shot.
